easy check in, clean modern King suite that was pet friendly. Reasonably priced and close to town! loved the kitchenette, and that there were TVs in each room! it was rainy weather, so we didn’t get to use the fire pit, but the area was very inviting. Will definitely stay again!!

Town House Lodge was perfect for our stay in Lake Placid. Nicely updated accommodations. Provided all the essentials. Comfy and cozy. Dog friendly ?? Close to town and sightseeing. Highly recommend! Will be back ??
Nice small updated hotel. Still doing updates that look like they will be really nice, like a common area kitchen. Everyone we spoke to were really friendly and helpful.
The room was very nice and clean. Loved the fire pit outside. Pet friendly hotel and friendly staff. A short walk to main street for shopping and restaurants. The Mountain View’s and hiking were amazing.Highly recommended. Will definitely stay there again when in the area. Thank you Town House Lodge for the wonderful experience.
We have stayed at two Weekender hotels (Lake Placid Town House, Falmouth Inn on the Square) this week, and they were both clean with excellent beds. Particularly the Town House, best mattress, sheets, pillows in these hotels.
Cute place, Great location. Would definitely stay again & recommend. We were looking for a place sort of close to whiteface mountain not to ski but to walk up its about 35 minutes away. We went there and we also checked out high falls gorge which is on the way to whiteface mountain. Beautiful scenery, beautiful area. The town is really pretty lots of stuff lots of restaurants. Im vegan so I wasnt really sure about food. We went to a place where there was sushi and hibachi on main Street. It was great. I had garlic broccoli with white rice and two avocado hand rolls everything was delicious! There is a menu in the room in the hotel that we checked out before which was very helpful.
We booked and canceled this place twice…once due to Covid and once due to a surgery. We finally made it and it was a good choice for Lake Placid. We selected the double queen with the kitchenette…we had tons of room which was nice since we were there for four nights. There was no dresser or closet in the room but they do provide a dressing rack and hangers. We ended up living out of our suitcases. There is still renovation work going on which meant no front office…all my communication was done via text. This was fine for getting our room number and the key code to get into the room but they didn’t remind me there is a shared kitchen where we could get ice so I ended up getting ice from one of the restaurants…also we didn’t need housekeeping but our towels that we hung to dry never dried so we needed replacement towels…my text request did not get a response until after I ended up finding housekeeping and getting the towels from them the next day. The location was great for walking to town. However again not having anyone on the premises meant I was unaware that we were a very short drive (drive away from town) to a drugstore and grocery store…I ended up going into town searching for something I could have gotten after a short drive…I had read previously that residents had to travel up to an hour for basic needs…obviously that was an old post. I would stay here again but I would prefer someone on site to welcome me and go over the basics of the property and the town. We enjoyed the heated pool…had it to ourselves on a beautiful, warm Monday…and we had a fire in the fire pit two nights…bring bug spray though.
Tres bel endroit! La chambre était très grande et propre. Les lits étaient confortables. On nous avait dit que la chambre serait prête à 16h et finalement elle a été prête plus tôt. Ce fut tres apprécié. Nous étions proches de plusieurs montages et du lake placid.
"In the process" of becoming a greater location. They seem to be going in the right direction. I'd like to go back when they are finished "fixing" it.

The overall updated standard king was fantastic! The new flooring is excellent and the vanity sink w/multiple light mirror is fantastic! We go every summer July 4th week for our anniversary July 5th and due to the updating of the property paid a bit more for our room but was well worth it! Had a beautiful stay! Ps: I originally booked at sister property placid bay and having fully paid the staff talked me in to the updated rooms at the townhouse lodge which was an upgrade from one property to the other...ThankYou Miguel and Joanie
Really clean room with two queen size beds. Received the door code electronically so there was no check-in process, which was great. Large flat screen tv in the room, along with a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and kuerig coffee maker. Great location within walking distance of downtown Lake Placid, a variety of cafes and shops. For the price this is a great option!
Really cute little hotel! Friendly staff, clean rooms, for a good price! The nice fresh smell in the room was really appreciated and the location of the hotel is quite good, We were about 1/2 mile from the downtown area so we were able to walk to restaurants, bars etc..
I had reserved a room here thru a 3rd party. The instructions said to contact the hotel 24 hours in advance for check in info. I called and was informed that there was no front desk and I would he emailed a room number/key code the next day. By 4pm I had no received an email so I called back and they told me that my info from the booking website had not carried over. The locks do take a little getting used to. My first code didn’t work and I had to have it refreshed so it took me about 30 mins to get into my room. The rooms were clean and newly redone. I was alittle nervous bc my room was on the back side and the locks on my window were broken off but I didn’t have any issues. I was pleasantly surprised to find a full sized stocked community kitchen that helped save on food costs during the trip. Day 2 my door code again stopped working and someone came to help but they said my door battery was showing as dead and they didn’t know how to change the door battery. The showers were VERY SMALL. My toddler was scared to get in. Other than that it was a great location and I would stay there again!
We fully enjoyed the renovated, the property and its location. The room was spacious with a nice kitchenette and barhroom. We especially surpised to find and smart TV that allowed the ability for us to log into our TV platforms.nThe beds were very comfortable with fresh, clean sheets and pillows. We were happy to be located close to many of the former Olympic venues in the area.
The Town House Lodge is a wonderful little motel just minutes away from the village of Lake Placid! You can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and the Olympic Center. Also, it's incredibly quiet considering how close the rooms are to each other. I've stayed here twice and have never heard people in the rooms next to us. The rooms have always been super clean and is pet friendly! We will be staying here again for sure!
An "old" Motel in an up-to-date style. We enjoyed staying there. The room was nice, the bed good and the towels just perfect (first thing to check in a hotel). Check-in means receiving the room # and door lock code by email which did not work for me. But a quick phone call and everything was fine. The hotel is only a short walk from Main St, and everything (even Lisa G's restaurant) is in walking distance.
Our stay here was great. It was quiet and super clean with everything we needed, thanks to the super nice and attentive staff. Not a luxury inn but that’s not what we wanted. Close to tow.n. The separate bedrooms enabled us to have a more peaceful stay with our college age daughter, who likes her privacy. We will definitely rebook here again.
Quite the surprise here!!! The communal kitchen is absolutely fantastic to have access to!!! Completely furnished with everything you need to cook with and a commercial refrigerator. All the rooms have been revamped and the bed was very comfortable. Rooms are CLEAN and the bathroom had all new fixtures!! Very nice folks there. We will definitely stay here again!!
Dog friendly. Spotlessly clean!! Great location. 5 min walk into the bars, shops and restaurants, so did not have to stress about parking in the town. Will definitely book again! Perfect!

My husband and I wanted a Thanksgiving Getaway for the 2 of us for 2 nights. Fiorella’s customer service was outstanding from the initial booking (immediately responsive to our questions and request for earlier arrival) to warmly and authentically greeting us and welcoming us, responsiveness during our stay, and warm farewell upon departure. We travel frequently and Fiorella is a rare gem who made our stay absolutely wonderful. Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable with top quality sheets, pillows, linens. The shower was amazing and bath towels were large and plush. It was quiet at night which allowed for great sleep. This lodge has a welcoming and open feel to all people and pets!!!!! If you are seeking lodging beyond a generic, book here!!! The other thing we appreciated was the shared kitchen space. We will definitely return and Fiorella is a big part of the reason why. Thank You!!!!!!
We stayed for two nights at the Town House Lodge in November 2022. This was our first stay there and our third in Lake Placid in the past few months. We will definitely go back there, and probably only there! in the future. The room was spacious (we had our teenager son with us) and very clean, the beds were comfortable with real pillows and we had a mini-kitchen with fridge, microwave, plates/cups/utensils and even a toaster! The Lodge also has a shared fully-equipped kitchen that we are planning to use next time. The managers (Fiorella and Jo) are doing a great job and are very friendly! They are also in the middle of renovating the rooms, so they will only get better. A expect a nice mix of rustic and modern. Cant wait to go back!
The Town House Lodge was so beyond our expectations it is hard to describe. Outstanding in every way. And Trudy and her staff excelled on so many levels. We will be back again for sure.t
Found a rare room at the last minute over the Labor Day weekend. Very quaint and well organized! Updated, clean rooms with windows that we could open at night. Plenty of charming common spaces, like a common kitchen to store or share your groceries. Great staff who provided personal service. Fun visiting with other guests in outdoor areas.
Over the years, we have stayed in numerous hotels and rented homes on Lake Placid. We were greatly impressed with this wonderful lodge that operates smoothly, creating a comfortable welcoming environment with well-appointed rooms and everything you need on your trip. Plus, it is likely the only lodge/hotel with an actual view of Lake Placid. The Lodge is a center of calmness in what can be a frantic tourist town, while also an easy walk to the center of the action. In addition, it is also an affordable option in what can be a rather pricey resort destination. We are glad we stayed here and enjoyed our visit very much.
Have been visiting Lake Placid for many years and this a gem of a place to stay! Its a small hill of a very short walk to/from the heart of town; but incredibly well worth it!nnThey have everything the hotels that charge twice the amount in Lake Placid have (and they have the absolute most charming grounds). They have so many wonderful little touches. A gem of a visit :-)
Great spot with comfy beds and spacious rooms. Would definitely stay here again. Also really love it when my car is parked right outside my door!
Amazing place Staff is very accessible Heated pool Fireplace Breakfast /lunch dinner room with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, grill, dishes and cuttelry Free Canoe and kayak Room. Was very clean and linen was amazing

My stay here was excellent! My room was spotless and spacious. The king bed provided for excellent sleep during my stay. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen came in handy as well, with the grocery store being easily walkable to stock up on supplies. The hospitality was unmatched. Lisa was friendly and even helped me out with transportation a couple of times. I most definitely recommend Town House Lodge and would stay here again if I happen to find myself in Lake Placid again. This place is adorable and affordable. Rooms were clean and up dated. I loved I could park outside my room and just bring everything in. The kitchenette room is perfect to warm up leftovers and boil water to make oatmeal in the morning. There is a fridge and coffee maker in the room. Downtown is a short walk. I loved they allow pets. Would definitely come back! Minus one ⭐️ for the thin walls/ noise.
This hotel is a total gem. The customer service is outstanding. We called last minute to book due to a snowstorm, and Corey at the front desk was so incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean, spacious and updated. Literally the largest hotel room I've ever stayed in. We are yoga people, so we had plenty of space to stretch after a full day of hiking. There is a common kitchen/lounge area, so you are able to cook dinner instead of eating out every night.
Super clean, orderly room and property. The communal kitchen is awesome and well kept, I felt comfortable making meals and it had everything I needed to cook (sharp knives, oil, pans, spices, etc.).If it was to improve in any way it would be a more guided checkin process / better lay of the land before getting into the room, ie where’s the kitchen, is there coffee in am, where to find passcode for internet, etc.The woman who checked me in was welcoming and even before that, the communication overall was responsive and friendly. I’d come back in a heart beat! Thanks for a great stay!
I loved everything about this place, decor was tasteful and comfy, beds were great, the kitchenette had a microwave fridge, toaster, plates, cups and silverware and sink. They provided soap, shampoo and conditioner. I loved the communal kitchen. It was an easy walk to downtown. We will definitely return and couldnt have been happier. Thank you for a wonderful stay here!!!!
Excellent place to stay!!!nWe enjoyed 4 night in the 2 bedroom suite (room 39) which has a small sitting area with 2 chairs and a kitchenette. We also used the provided community kitchen which is well equipped. nnThe location is a short 3 block walk to downtown (some hills, if that’s an issue). This was especially convenient as half of the main drag is under construction. nnWalked around Mirror Lake (lovely), took the gondola at the Olympic Ski Jumping Center (fall foliage was amazing), hiked up Jo Mountain (short but hard, boulders and roots), enjoyed some delicious meals at local restaurants. nnWe were surprised it wasn’t more crowded even on weekdays as the fall colors came into full view while we were there. nnThe owner, Lisa, was so friendly. Housekeeping staff very helpful. nnClean, comfy beds, safe area, good location, and cute, cute, cute. Stay here!
Fantastic spot and excellent experience staying for a couple nights. Staff running the place really care and it shows. Fantastic common area with kitchen to enjoy a home cooked meal, if that’s your jam.
You couldn't ask for a better pet friendly motel. Heated pool was awesome as was the very friendly staff. We really enjoyed the use of the kitchen and the wonderful help from the staff with the coffee maker 😁👍. Great location as well, within walking distance to where you want to go in town.
The best, the very best. Such a warm and comfortable place. The staff is friendly and helpful.The rooms are clean and so well appointed. They have amenities that no one else has, campfires with marshmallows. The pool and the fluffy towels, great coffee. Cannot say enough about how much we liked our stay.
